At Arctic Import’s reception in Nuuk recently 70,000 Dkr. were given away to work with children and young people.

The Money Was Handed to

- Save the Children, who got 15,000 Dkr.
- Team Greenland, who got 15,000 Dkr.
- The Association Greenlandic Children, who got 40,000 Dkr.

The handing over of the donations took place in connection with Arctic Import’s 25th anniversary, which was held in the community institute in Nuuk.

Beforehand Arctic Import had asked their guests to give money as anniversary gifts instead of the customary bottle of wine.

The whole amount would be donated to work with children and young people in Greenland, Mr Gunnar Laursen, manager of Arctic Import, promised before the anniversary.

The money was collected at the firm’s anniversary receptions in Aalborg and Nuuk, respectively.

In total 73,779.20 Dkr. were collected, divided with 58,000 Dkr. in Aalborg and 15,000 Dkr. in Nuuk.
